Missions

At FBC Bay Minette we want everyone to have the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.

In 2018, the missions teams of FBC journeyed into Winnipeg, Canada, and Gillette, Wyoming. The Winnipeg team worked alongside pastors of several local churches to reach the First Nations people groups of the area, assisting with canvassing neighborhoods for a new church start, local food pantry distribution, and feeding ministries among underserved populations. The team to Gillette partnered with groups across Mississippi working with Redemption Baptist Church, helping them reach new areas around the city.

Long-term partnerships

While these teams have been taking the Gospel to new areas, our missions leadership has been working to establish long-term partnerships with new church starts in Montana and Peru. FBC partners with these churches to reach their communities and share the news of Jesus Christ, joining them multiple times a year in a variety of ministry opportunities.

We also traveled to Slidell, Louisiana, to help with cleanup efforts after Hurricane Ida heavily damaged the area. We're continually working toward new opportunities to go and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
